ISV is excited to offer 4 separate awards for participation to the 2024 ISV Annual Congress, 21-23 October in Seoul, South Korea at the Dragon City Hotel.

  • Awards for PhD students and Early Career researchers from LMICs.
  • Awards for One Health/ Veterinary vaccine PhD students and Early Career researchers from LMICs.
  • Awards for PhD students and Early Career researchers from non-LMIC countries
  • Virtual Awards for PhD students and Early Career researchers from LMIC and One Health/ Veterinary vaccine PhD students and Early Career researchers from LMIC.

All applications much include abstract, letter of recommendation (Example Letter of Recommendation), and fully completed online application submitted. Please review the eligibility and terms and conditions clauses in the application prior to submitting.

Awardees will be provided with online registration that includes all recorded speaker presentations, uploaded abstracts, virtual exhibit booths, and chat connections.

Awards include ISV Congress Registration Fee and Dragon City Hotel Accommodation up to 4 nights of ISV Congress attendance.

Funding provided by the International Veterinary Vaccinology Network

DEADLINE HAS PASSED

In-Person Awards include Travel Costs, ISV Congress Registration Fee and Dragon City Hotel Accommodation up to 4 nights of ISV Congress attendance.

Virtual Awards include online participation to the 2024 ISV Annual Congress to access all recorded lectures, panels, oral presentations from submitted abstracts and virtual posters.

ISV Annual Meeting Awards

The Distinguished Service Award
Recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service to, or contributions to the ISV’s mission to advance knowledge, education, and awareness of vaccine sciences to the community.  Exemplary service may include significant and sustained leadership; logistics; or operational expertise in serving and promoting the ISV.

The Excellence in Advancing Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Award
Recognizes an ISV member who has demonstrated outstanding contributions to promote the Society’s principles and programs advancing a more globally diverse and inclusive field of vaccine scientists (students, trainees, and early career professionals) and leaders of the ISV.

The International Society for Vaccines is an organization that engages, supports, and sustains the professional goals of a diverse membership in all areas relevant to vaccines and immunotherapeutics.  The ISV is a global not-for-profit organization that aims to encourage, establish, and promote the development and use of vaccines to prevent and control infectious and non-infectious diseases in animals and humans.
